I received an email and clicked on the link to your website . . . I started reading. I read some more . . . scrolled . . . kept reading. I started to cry, Not because your link made me sad, because we have been through some of the same situations and your strength gave me strength reminding myself of everything I have survived and lived through. The reminder of the "push" I had to give myself everyday to get on my feet and I remembered whispering the words, "Lord, give me strength" in my head in order to continue my day. I remember the fake words I said of, "oh I'm fine, thanks for asking" and the fake smiles I had to give knowing the darkness that was inside of me! Thank you!!! Thank you for reminding me that I am not alone in the darkness. I don't have to fake my happiness or my smile! Looks like we both found our light in this world. The light that we have found is forever eternal.

Sherry came and gave her testimony to my youth group. I have a group compromised of Middle and High School youth. Her message was moving, easy to follow and was very relatable for all the kids. She gave a moving testimony that clearly showed how God moved in her life and sustained her through some rough patches. Everyone also loved the dog she brought with her and how she told the story of giving back to the community through the dog and how it has healed her from a long history of family dysfunction. I highly recommend Sherry for any speaking engagement dealing with youth and dysfunction. The kids grew from her story and shared experience.

I would recommend Aunt Sherry's God Can. With life being stressful and busy, we are reminded daily that we need God's presence and guidance. Our family writes down on paper our worries, our stresses, our frustrations, our hopes and anything that makes our minds wander. We then fold up the paper, say a prayer and give it to God in the God Can. It is an amazing and freeing feeling when I give those things to God knowing He will take care of everything and I can let go. My son suffers with anxiety, so, physically writing down his problems or worries and placing it in the God Can with a prayer helps him feel safe.
